Villa Ephrussi, Kérylos & Èze Gardens | Private Transfer
Between Nice and Monaco, three of the most photographed places on the coast sit within fifteen minutes of one another. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, pink above nine themed gardens on Cap Ferrat; Villa Kérylos, a reconstructed ancient Greek house on the water at Beaulieu; and the Jardin Exotique d’Èze, a cactus garden on a clifftop 400 metres above the sea. Together they make the best half-day on the Riviera — and all three lie 15 to 20 minutes from Nice.
Three Sites, One Afternoon
The natural order runs east: Villa Ephrussi first, on the narrow neck of Cap Ferrat, then five minutes down to Kérylos on the seafront at Beaulieu, then up the Moyenne Corniche to Èze. Each visit takes an hour to ninety minutes, so all three fit into a half day with time for a coffee — but only if the driving between them is not the problem.
That is where it usually goes wrong. Cap Ferrat’s roads are narrow and residential with almost no visitor parking, Beaulieu’s seafront fills by mid-morning, and Èze village has a car park that turns people away in July. With a driver you are set down at each entrance and collected at each exit, and the whole route becomes three visits rather than three parking problems.

What to See
🌹 Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
A rose-pink palace built in 1912 above nine gardens — French, Spanish, Japanese, Florentine — with musical fountains and views over two bays.
🏛️ Villa Kérylos
An ancient Greek villa recreated in every detail in 1902, standing directly on the rocks at Beaulieu-sur-Mer, mosaics and all.
🌵 Jardin Exotique d’Èze
Cacti and succulents terraced across the ruins of the castle, 400 metres straight above the sea — the classic Riviera photograph.
🚶 Cap Ferrat Coastal Path
If you have an extra hour, the shore path circles the peninsula past villas normally hidden from the road.
FAQ
Can we see all three in one afternoon?
Yes, comfortably, if you allow an hour at each and start by two o’clock. A half-day hire is the usual arrangement.
Do you wait between the sites?
Yes — on a multi-stop booking the driver stays with you, so bags and coats stay in the car throughout.
Is Èze village the same as the garden?
The garden sits at the top of the medieval village, reached on foot up stepped lanes. Allow twenty minutes’ walking each way.
Can you add Monaco afterwards?
Yes, Monaco is ten minutes beyond Èze and makes a natural extension into the evening.
